• How is water made?

  The half of this machine is constructed like a small refrigerator and is made by blowing air against a chilled metal plate and collecting the water that condenses.
  It is a mechanism that efficiently collects water droplets attached to the surface of a glass filled with ice water.

• What do you need to make water?

  Basically just electricity. Even in an emergency, electricity is restored the fastest, and it is becoming easier to obtain electricity from solar power generation and hybrid cars.

• Is the water safe?

  The water collected by condensation contains fine particles contained in the air, so we use four water filters to remove fine particles and make it safe for drinking.

• Is it really okay to drink water?

  The water made with this machine has passed both the 51-item tap water quality test and the mineral water test at the Kyoto Institute of Microbiology, and its safety has been confirmed.
  In addition, this result is done with equipment that has been used for 3 months from new condition.

• Is it okay to drink water made from air that contains coronavirus or other virus?

  One of the four water filters, the RO filter only allows particles up to 1/1000 the size of the COVID19 to pass through, so viruses, germs, and bacteria are removed.
  In addition, both the tank that collects the condensed water and the tank that stores it through the filter are equipped with UV germicidal lamps, so even if the water leaks into the tank, it will be sterilized.

• Will mold and bacteria grow in the water tank?

  There is no problem as long as the UV germicidal lamp is lit in the tank to disinfect. Also, if the UV germicidal lamp runs out, an error will be shown on the display panel.

• How many liters of water can you make in a day?

  The amount produced varies depending on the ambient temperature and humidity. 15 liters can be generated in a hot and humid environment in summer, but it drops to about 5 liters in a low temperature and low humidity environment in winter.
  If the temperature is below 10°C, almost no water can be generated, so indoor installation is the condition of use.

• How much is the monthly electricity for that device?

  If you continue to make water every day, the electricity bill will be about $0.5 per day, so it will be about $15 per month. (calculated at 1 KWh = $0.25)

• What maintenance do you need and what do you need to replace?

  The four water filters need to be replaced every six months or one year, and we recommend cleaning the air filter and the activated carbon filter for the water tank every three months.
  Four water filters are about $300 for a set for two years.

• Is it for disasters?

  It can be used in an environment where electricity can be obtained even in the event of a disaster, but it can also be used as a substitute for a daily water server.

• Is the water delicious to drink?

  Immediately after passing through the 3rd water filter, the water is almost tasteless and odorless, so the 4th filter adds a small amount of minerals to make it taste like mineral water.
